Amesiella monticola - Growing a new leaf, new root, and something pushing its way out that could be a spike (?). | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Bletilla striata- Still green but will be hit by frost soon. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Brassia New Start- Progressing on four growths. Some ugly spots appearing on new growth. Lots of roots growing. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Brassocatanthe Little Mermaid 'Janet'- In bloom with four flowers, not fragrant (yet?), one bud seems loose at the base, opening prematurely. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Bulbophyllum echinolabium- Working on three new growths, not sure if they are leaves or spikes. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Bulbophyllum Lovely Elizabeth- Aborted a spike on a completed growth, now beginning a new pseudobulb. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Bulbophyllum medusae- Many spikes growing, as many as 15, although some may not develop. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Bulbophyllum rufinum- Two new growths, at least one appears to be a spike. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Cattleya rex seedlings- The largest looks to be two growths away from possibly flowering. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Cypripedium Anna- Has been transplanted to near the house, in the fern bed. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Maxillariella tenuifolia- In a darker, cooler spot, where it will have a bit drier winter. Looking to get rid of this one. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Mormodia Jumbo World- Infested with mites. Washed leaves and applied oil/soap mixture. Must watch surrounding plants for infestation. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

Oncidium Speckled Spire 'Wisp'- Struggling after being repotted. All pseudobulbs shriveled, but new growth is developing and putting out new roots. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

Zygopetalum Bright Imagination 'Master Ian'- This spring's new growth completed, a new growth several inches tall, root growth observed. Maybe this newest growth will bloom. This plant won't go outside next summer - the heat seems to stall growth. |
